The CEED 2025 result will be declared in the first week of March 2025. CEED is a Common Entrance Test for Design. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted every year by IIT, Bombay. Admission to the PG course (M.Des) of Design is granted through this exam.

  1. IITs, IISc Bangalore, and many other design institutes will also consider the CEED scorecard for granting admissions to their campuses.
  2. In this article, candidates can get the details of CEED Result 2025 as well as the procedure to download the card.
  3. The results will be checked through online mode only. It will not be accessed through any other mode. Candidates have to use their registered login to access the result.
  4. Candidates have to use their email ID and password to download their result card. The scorecard of the candidates will not be sent to any candidate by post.
  5. Candidates are instructed to retain copies of their results and scorecards until they get admission in any institute. The CEED 2025 scorecard will be valid only for one year from the date of declaration of the result

How to Check CEED 2025 Result

The result of CEED 2025 entrance exam will be declared online. The steps to check the result are given below;

  1. Click on the result link
  2. You will be redirected to a log-in window
  3. Enter your registered email ID and password
  4. On successful log-in, the CEED 2025 result will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download the result and take a printout of it.

The result-cum-scorecard of CEED 2025 will include the following information:

  1. The name of the candidate
  2. Roll number
  3. Category
  4. Part A and Part B Marks
  5. Open and Category Rank
  6. The date of issue of the scorecard
  7. Validity of the scorecard
  8. The category-wise qualifying marks for CEED 2025
  9. The total number of candidates appearing in CEED 2025
  10. Number of candidates who have qualified in CEED 2025

CEED Score Card 2025

Within a few days of the written exam, the authority will release the scorecard for the qualified candidates. Candidates will be able to view their scorecard by entering the application/registration number and password. Only candidates who qualify for Part A of the entrance exam will be eligible to check their scorecard. The scorecard must be preserved until the selection process. The CEED 2025 scorecard will be released in the second week of March 2025. Only candidates who qualify for Part A of the exam will be considered eligible for Part B of the exam. The CEED scorecard will not be considered as proof of date of birth, category, or disability status. In the scorecard, candidates will be able to check the marks obtained by them in each section of the exam. The merit list will also be released by the authority along with the result.

CEED 2025 - Part A Qualifying Marks, Shortlisting, Issue of Merit Ranks

IIT Bombay will release the CEED 2025 cut-off marks for Part A around the second week of February 2025. The cut-off will be released in the form of mean and standard deviation. The mean and standard deviation for Part A (CEED 2024) were 41.90 and 16.72 respectively.

Important points related to the CEED 2025 Part A cut-off:

  1. The Part A cut-off marks will be used to shortlist candidates; note that Part B answer sheets will be evaluated only if the candidate meets the cut-off criteria in their respective category.
  2. All shortlisted candidates will be issued CEED 2025 merit ranks.
  3. As a result, they can apply for admission to CEED 2025 participating institutes.
  4. Candidates who do not meet the Part A cut-off and fail to get shortlisted will not be awarded merit ranks.

IIT Bombay will release the list of toppers at the time of the declaration of CEED 2025 results.

The result notification will include information such as roll number, CRL, and names of the toppers.

Step 3: Click on the 'Forgot Password' tab. 

Step 4: Enter the registered email ID.

Step 5: Again click on the 'Forgot Password' button.

Step 6: Create a new password.

Step 7: Navigate through the email link with a new password.

Step 8: Visit the CEED 2024 official website.

Step 9: Click on the 'Scorecard' or 'Candidate Portal' link.

Step 10: Enter your email ID and new password.

CEED Merit Ranks

The merit rank obtained by the candidate in the CEED 2025 exam will be mentioned in the CEED 2025 scorecard.

  1. All the candidates who qualify in Part B of the exam are only able to make it to the merit list
  2. The CEED merit list 2025 will have two parts – the final drawing list and waiting list
  3. The candidates whose names appear in the final drawing list will be allotted seats through CEED counseling
  4. The remaining seats, if any, will be filled through candidates from the waiting list

In the CEED scorecard and merit list, candidates are allotted ranks in different categories. Check out the different types of CEED ranks that are allotted to candidates:

  1. Open Rank: Open rank is awarded to candidates whose total CEED score and marks in Part-A are equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks
  2. EWS Rank: This rank is given to the general category candidates who belong to the economically weaker section (EWS) of the society. Such candidates are also given Open ranks as there is no separate cutoff for such candidates.
  3. SC/ST/OBC-NCL Rank: This rank is given to candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. However, the rank of such candidates is retained only if they can produce the original certificates issued by the concerned authority at the time of document verification. If a candidate fails to produce the relevant documents, he/she is considered under the Open category only.
  4. Open PWD Rank: This rank is valid for General Category candidates who are physically handicapped. However, like the SC/ST/OBC-NCL rank, candidates can retain the Open Persons with Disability (PWD) rank only if they can produce relevant documents at the time of document verification.
  5. SC/ST/OBC-NCL PWD Rank: This rank is valid for SC/ST/OBC category candidates who are physically handicapped. If a candidate fails to produce the relevant documents at the time of verification, he/she will be considered for admission as per his/her SC/ST/OBC rank or open rank
