The CEED 2025 admission portal will be launched after the application opens. Candidates who meet the CEED eligibility criteria can apply before the last date. The CEED 2025 exam will be conducted around the third week of January 2025. The exam will be of 3 hours and will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will be an hour-long exam, which will be conducted in computer-based mode and will consist of 41 questions. At the same time, Part B will be offline-based and will consist of 5 questions that candidates will have to solve in 2 hours.
The CEED exam, or Common Entrance Examination for Design, is a national-level entrance exam in India. The official notification of the CEED 2025 exam can be checked on its official website. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with the primary aim to assess the candidates’ aptitude for design including visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity and communication skills.

The application form for CEED 2025 will open online in the first week of October 2024 (tentative). The application link will be provided on this page once the application form opens.
The CEED 2025 application is for admission to M.Des and Ph.D. courses offered by the participating colleges.
Check the eligibility requirements listed below. Note that the CEED 2025 eligibility criteria for admission to different institutes may vary to appear in CEED 2025. Before applying for CEED, candidates should check if they fulfil the eligibility criteria required for admission to various institutes.
There is no age limit to appear for CEED. Also, a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times.
Candidates should have completed a minimum of three years of Degree/Diploma/Postgraduate Degree programme (after 10+2 level) or appearing in the final examination of such programme by July 2025, or passed the GD Arts Diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2025.
As per the CEED eligibility criteria, candidates can attempt the examination as long as they qualify for the age limit.
Orthopedically handicapped or visually impaired candidates will be provided with scribes to appear in Part A of the CEED exam. To get a scribe, candidates must follow the following rules:

The CEED 2025 question paper will be designed to evaluate the candidate's visual perception, creativity, drawing skills, logical reasoning and communication skills. Also, note that the CEED exam is a kind of design aptitude test.

The admit cards will be available for download from the official CEED website (www.ceed.iitb.ac.in) from January, 2025 till the exam date.
Reporting Time: Candidates must report at the exam centre on the reporting time, along with a printout of the admit card. This is required to record biometric information (thumb impression and photo) before appearing for the exam.
Identity Proof: Candidates must bring a valid photo identity proof (original) and admit card to the exam centre. Candidates without proper identity proof (identity card issued by the college, passport, driving license, PAN card, voter ID, Aadhaar card or printed e-Aadhaar card) will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
Stationery: Candidates must bring their own drawing materials like pens, pencils, sketch pens and colours for the exam. Candidates must not bring drawing sheets to the exam hall.
CEED 2025 results will be declared tentatively in March 2025. The results will be released online on the CEED 2025 admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. Note that the result will include Part A marks for all candidates. However, Part B marks and CEED 2025 merit rank will be released only for shortlisted candidates. Part B is descriptive and as such, it is evaluated holistically based on the criteria mentioned in the question paper. The evaluated answer sheet for Part B is not issued to the candidate. Also, there is no provision to re-evaluate Part A or Part B.
