CUSAT Result Dates 2025

The university will release the rank list in June 2025. The CUSAT CAT 2025 exam will be conducted from the second week of May 2025. After the completion of the exam, the university will release the answer key with the objection facility. 

With the help of the answer key, candidates can estimate the marks obtained in the entrance exam. Counseling will be conducted from the same day of the publication of the result. Admission will be provided based on the rank obtained by the candidates.

How to Check CUSAT Result 2025

Candidates can check the details given below to download the CUSAT 2025 results.

1. Visit the website link (link will be given above).
2. Click on the link and you will be redirected to the result page.
3. Enter the required details to open the result.
4. Enter your roll number (given on the admit card).
5. Click on ‘Submit’ or ‘Reset’ if you forgot the password.
6. The result will be displayed on the screen.
7. Download and take a printout of it.
8. Keep an extra printout of the result for the admission process.

CUSAT Rank List 2025

The authority will release the CUSAT 2025 rank list through online mode only after the result is declared. The rank list will be prepared based on the number of candidates appearing in the exam and the marks obtained by the candidates.

The rank list will be released along with the result. Based on the rank list, candidates will be invited for the counselling round.

CUSAT Cut-Off 2025

The cut-off list will be released through online mode. CUSAT CAT cut-off will be the minimum marks that candidates must obtain in the exam to be eligible for the further admission process.

The CUSAT cut off list will be prepared based on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, total number of seats, number of candidates appearing in the exam, number of candidates qualifying for the exam, marks obtained by the topper, etc. Participating colleges will have their own cut-off marks and it will vary for every course.

CUSAT 2025 Counselling

CUSAT 2025 counselling will begin in the first week of June 2025. It will be conducted through online mode. The university will release the rank list a few days after the result is declared. Based on the rank secured by the candidates in the rank list, the university will send the counselling invitation letter to the candidates. 

The CUSAT counselling process will be done in various stages which will include personal interviews and group discussions. To participate in CUSAT counselling, candidates must first register on the website. At the time of the counselling process, candidates will have to bring the following original documents:

CUSAT CAT result 2025 - Formula to calculate CUSAT CAT score

The CUSAT mentions the marking scheme on the CUSAT CAT 2025 prospectus, CUSAT Scores are calculated by following a formula, which is S = 3R – 1W. In this formula, S stands for Score of CUSAT, R stands for Number of Right Answers, and W stands for Number of Wrong Answers.

Let us suppose, the number of right answers is 200 and the number of wrong answers is 20 then the score will be calculated as

S = 3R – 1W {Formula}

S = 3(200) – 1(20) {Put the values of R and W}

S = 600 – 20 {Multiply 3 & 180 and 1 & 20}

S = 580

So, the score will be 580 marks.
