What is CUSAT CAT?

Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi conducts an entrance exam every year to provide admission to its UG (B.Tech) programmes. The CUSAT Common Entrance Test is abbreviated as CUSAT CAT Exam. The CUSAT CAT is used to admit students to a variety of programs, including engineering, environmental studies, humanities, law, marine sciences, medical sciences and technology, science, social sciences, and technology.

CUSAT also conducts CUSAT LET (Lateral Entry Test) to provide admission to the third semester of B.Tech programmes and CUSAT DAT (Departmental Entrance Test) to provide admission to PG programmes. Initially, CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) was formed on July 10, 1971, as Cochin University through an Act of the Government of Kerala. In February 1986, Cochin University was reorganised into Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).

CUSAT 2025 Counselling
