MET Result 2025 - Tie-Breaking Criteria

If there is a case that there are two or more candidates with the same MET Scores, the authorities will follow the tie-breaking rules to allot the ranks.

1. Candidates securing higher marks in Mathematics will be allotted higher rank.
2.  If the tie still exists, candidates with higher scores in Physics will get higher rank. 
3. If the tie is still not broken, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will get a higher rank. 
4. If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in 10th class PCM will be allotted a higher rank.
5.  Finally, if the tie is still not broken, older candidates will get higher rank.

MET 2025 Counselling

The dates for MET 2025 counselling have not been announced yet. All the qualified candidates will be required to participate in the MET counselling 2025 process to be eligible for seat allotment in the courses offered by the participating campuses. To get registered for MET counselling, candidates need to log in using their application number and OTBS password. During the MET counselling process, candidates will have to provide the required details and submit their choice of colleges and courses in order of preference. The seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's rank, preference, category and seat availability. The allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission by verifying their documents at the allotted campus and paying the tuition fee.
