Selection to the MET 2026 participating colleges will be on the basis of performance in the Manipal entrance examination of the candidate. Manipal University organizes the MET examination to provide entry into diverse undergraduate engineering courses available at the participating institutions. To sit for the Manipal entrance examination 2026 candidates were required to do MET 2026 registration online. Candidates registered were required to sit for the entrance examination according to the schedule. The shortlisted candidates have to undergo the MET counselling procedure for admission. Seat allotment counselling will take place in all MET participating institutes based on candidates' Manipal entrance test scores.
