XAT Result 2025 Overview

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025 is scheduled on January 5, 2025, with registration open till November 30, 2024. The exam will last for three hours and will consist of two parts:

1. Part one consists of 75 multiple-choice questions covering verbal ability and logical reasoning, decision-making quantitative ability and data interpretation, with no sectional time limit. 
2. Part two has 20 questions in the general knowledge section, which are to be completed in 10 minutes. Notably, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) component has been removed from the exam and will instead be assessed during the Group Discussion and Personal Interview stages.

The scoring system awards +1 mark for correct answers and deducts 0.25 marks for incorrect answers, while there is no penalty for unattempted questions. The official result is expected to be released at the end of January 2025, soon after which XLRI Jamshedpur will announce the shortlist based on XAT scores and other criteria15.

Step 2- Enter XAT Application Number/Registered ID and Password

What After the XAT Result 2025?

Shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection rounds which will include a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).
