XAT Selection Procedure 2025: XLRI, Jamshedpur will conduct the XAT 2025 selection process after the declaration of the XAT result. Each XAT participating institute has its own individual XAT selection procedure 2025 and there is no centralized procedure. Students who make it to the final merit list based on their scores in the XAT exam will be called for XAT counselling. Candidates must register on the official website of the colleges they wish to apply to appear for the XAT 2025 selection process.
The selection process for XAT 2025 consists of three stages:
XAT 2025 Registration is expected to begin in the second week of July 2025. Candidates who wish to attempt XAT must know the crucial XAT exam dates to complete the application, admit card download, and other steps on time.

The XAT selection procedure runs as per the participating institute. The selection rounds include GD and PI rounds. The program-wise choice criteria for XLRI is given below:
Post Graduate Diploma in Management- Business Management (PGDM-BM):
Post Graduate Diploma in Management- Human Resources Management (PGDM- HRM):
Shortlisting based on XAT score.
Personal Interview (PI). The PI typically lasts for 15-20 minutes.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management- General Management (PGDM-GM/ Ex-PGDM):
Stage 1: Shortlisting based on XAT or GMAT score.
Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI), in person, or over G-Talk/ Skype for overseas candidates.
PGDM (BM), Part-Time (JSR):
Stage 1: Shortlisting based on a talent test (which consists of class 10th-level questions on quantitative ability, English language skills, and logical reasoning). Students may be required to provide the scores of credible MBA examinations in which they may have appeared.
Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI) at XLRI Jamshedpur
Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Global MBA (PGDM- GMBA):
Shortlisting based on XAT or GMAT score.
Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
The Group Discussion (GD) is an important component of the selection process for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).
