SCERT Bihar extends the registration date of NMMS 2025. Students who are interested in taking up the NMMS 2025 exam can apply for the examination by logging into the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in, on or before December 7, 2024.

Earlier, the date for registration had been closed on 1st December but was extended as more applications kept coming. This, therefore, allowed students who missed this date to do their registration.

Bihar NMMS 2025 Exam Pattern: What to Expect?

The Bihar NMMS 2025 exam will have two parts, namely MAT and SAT. Each part will have 90 questions and will carry 1 mark per question. The total marks for each part will be 90.

Part 1: Mental Ability Test

This section will focus on reasoning, analysis, and synthesis. It aims to assess students' logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Part 2: Scholastic Ability Test

This section will contain questions on the subjects of Science, Mathematics, and Social Science. It will assess student knowledge and understanding in these major academic areas.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar NMMS 2025

To be eligible for the Bihar NMMS 2025, the students need to fulfil the following conditions:

1. Grade Requirement: Students must be studying in Class 8 during the academic year 2024-2025.
2. Academic Performance: Students must have secured at least 55% marks or equivalent grades in their Class VII exams. For SC/ST students, the minimum score required is 50%.
3. Income Limit: The joint annual income of both parents should not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh.
4. Exclusion Criteria: Students who are studying in NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya), KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya), Sainik Schools, or private schools are not eligible for the NMMS scholarship.
