The Consortium of National Law Universities has updated the reservation criteria for MNLU, Aurangabad and Mumbai in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The announcement mentioned the inclusion of reservations for Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) in UG and PG courses. Candidates who are residents of Maharashtra are qualified to submit their applications. Candidates who meet the requirements are asked to make sure their bookings are up to date. The CLAT 2025 registration is still ongoing, candidates can apply for CLAT 2025 till 15th October 2024. Students have to fill out the CLAT 2025 application form online on the official website.
The notification also mentions that if the candidate wants to change their reserved categories, they should log in to their CLAT account and select the correction Application button. Go to the reservation section and select MNLU, Mumbai and MNLU, Aurangabad. When asked if you want to use state-level reservations in Maharashtra, answer "yes" and select the desired reservation category from the drop-down menu. Finally, press the submit button to save the changes.
