The CLAT exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam is of 2 2-hour duration for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The CLAT registration process 2025 is likely to continue for three months to allow candidates to fill out the application form with ease.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

2. Click on the “Register” or “Apply for CLAT 2026” button on the homepage.

Step 2: Registration

1. Provide Basic Information:
2. Enter your name, mobile number, email ID, and password.
3. Submit the Captcha Code: Complete the security check.
4. Verify Your Account: You may receive an OTP or verification link on your registered email or mobile number.

Step 3: Log In

Use your registered email ID and password to log in to your account.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form

Personal Information

1. Full Name (as per official documents)
2. Date of Birth
3. Gender
4. Nationality
5. Category (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.)
6. PwD Status (if applicable)
7. Domicile (State-specific details if applying for reserved seats)

   Address Details

1. Permanent and Correspondence Address
2. Contact Information (mobile number and email ID)

   Parent/Guardian Information

1. Names, occupation, and contact details of parents or guardians.

Step 5: Academic Information

1. Class 10th Details: School Name, Board, Year of Passing, and Percentage/Grade.
2. Class 12th or Equivalent Details: School Name, Board, Year of Passing (or Expected), and Marks.
3. For PG Candidates: Provide LLB degree or equivalent qualification details.
