JEE Main 2025 Image Discrepancy Correction Window Now Open – Apply Now

NTA has opened the JEE Main correction window for discrepancies in images uploaded by candidates. Students can upload new photographs as per the specifications by 17 January 2025. Read the complete article and learn more about it.

JEE Main 2025 Correction

The JEE Main 2025 correction for image discrepancies upload has been opened by the National Testing Agency. A few applicants have uploaded photos that do not fall under the requirements set by the NTA for uploading images. Such applicants are requested to upload images according to the required specifications so that they are not rejected for the JEE Main application. Students must upload images according to the specifications by 17 January 2025, 11:50 PM.

The registered mobile number and email ID of those, whose photographs are to be changed will be informed regarding the same. Students should log in through their credentials and click on the link to upload new photographs.

JEE Main 2025 Specifications for Photographs

Students must follow the guidelines below while uploading their photographs:

1. Size and Format:
1. Passport-size photographs should be between 10 kb and 300 kb.
2. The file should be in JPG/JPEG format and legible.
2. Appearance:
1. Recent coloured photograph with 80% of the face (without mask) visible, including ears, against a white background.
2. Spectacles are allowed only if regularly used.
3. Polaroid and computer-generated photographs are strictly prohibited.
3. Additional Notes:
1. Unclear or non-compliant photographs will result in application rejection.
2. The photographs do not require attestation. Candidates are advised to keep 6-8 passport-size colour photographs with white backgrounds for use at the time of examination.
4. Fabrication Warning:
1. Fabricated, de-shaped, or computer-made photographs will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) and dealt with accordingly.

6. Candidates whose photographs require rectification need to log in to the JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in with their credentials and click on the link provided to upload the corrected photograph within the given timeline.
7. Photographs that are artificially produced or vague will not be accepted and the candidature will be cancelled.
