The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell would initiate the registration process for Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharmacy) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) admissions for 2025-26 on July 7. Aspirants who had appeared in Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2025 or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025, either of them, will only be eligible for registration.
Through the mahacet.org official website, candidates who wish to enroll in government, government-aided, university-managed, ICT Mumbai and unaided private pharmacy colleges will have to register themselves and complete document verification from 7th to 14th July. Document verification will be conducted via e-scrutiny or physical scrutiny. In e-scrutiny, documents are verified online, whereas physical scrutiny requires a visit to the facilitation centre.
For the first-year BPharmacy admission, the eligibility criteria require that the candidates are the ones who have cleared Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Furthermore, open schooling qualifications or other such qualifications like NIOS are not considered as valid. Similarly, for first-year PharmD admission, the application should be a person who has gone through a 12th-grade course of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology or has been awarded a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
