MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 determines the parameters that should be fulfilled by the candidates interested in taking MHT CET 2025. The parameters include the age of the candidates, educational qualifications and others.
Candidates have to meet MHT CET Eligibility Criteria laid down by the conducting authority to appear for the exam. All Indian Nationals who have passed the HSC/12th class exam or its equivalent examination can appear for MHT CET 2024.
As per DTE Maharashtra, 85% of the seats in private unaided engineering institutes in Maharashtra will be filled through MHT CET, while 15% of seats will be filled/reserved for All India Quota based on MHT CET
The state-level Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is used to choose candidates for admission to engineering and pharmacy programmes at different Maharashtran colleges. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell administers the test annually.
Three question papers will be used in the MHT CET 2025 exam. Paper 1 will be maths; Paper 2 will be a combination of chemistry and physics; and Paper 3 will be biology. Those who are interested in registering for the engineering course should show up for Papers 1 and 2. Candidates for pharmacy programmes are expected to show up for Papers 2 and 3. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination Cell (MHT CET) 2025 has announced the exam dates. The MHT CET 2025 exam dates for the PCM group will be held from April 19 to 27, 2025, whereas the PCB group exam will be held from April 9 to 17, 2025. The PCM group's MHT CET 2025 admit card is now available. On the website mahacet.org, candidates can download their MHT CET PCBM Admit Card. Candidates must use their email address and password to log in to the website to download their admit card. On the day of the exam, candidates must print the page after downloading it and bring it to the testing location. On April 13, the MHT CET PCB Admit Card was made available.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will establish the cutoff scores or ranks based on several variables, including the number of applicants, the exam's difficulty, and the availability of seats in the participating institutes.
