MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2024 determines the parameters that should be fulfilled by the candidates interested in taking MHT CET 2024. The parameters include the age of the candidates, educational qualifications and others.
Candidates have to meet MHT CET Eligibility Criteria laid down by the conducting authority to appear for the exam. All Indian Nationals who have passed the HSC/12th class exam or its equivalent examination can appear for MHT CET 2024.
As per DTE Maharashtra, 85% of the seats in private unaided engineering institutes in Maharashtra will be filled through MHT CET, while 15% of seats will be filled/reserved for All India Quota based on MHT CET
The state-level Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is used to choose candidates for admission to engineering and pharmacy programmes at different Maharashtran colleges. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell administers the test annually.
Three question papers will be used in the MHT CET 2024 exam. Paper 1 will be maths; Paper 2 will be a combination of chemistry and physics; and Paper 3 will be biology. Those who are interested in registering for the engineering course should show up for Papers 1 and 2. Candidates for pharmacy programmes are expected to show up for Papers 2 and 3.
