The State CET Cell has announced a re-test for MHT CET 2025 students. This is because 21 exam questions were found to be wrong. The students who took the exam on April 27 complained that 21 out of 50 Math questions had issues. The State Cell acknowledged this major problem with the MHT CET exam.
The MHT CET 2025 exam had errors. These errors happened when the questions were translated from Marathi to English. This led to the answer options being mixed up. Many students who took the exam on Sunday in English found these errors. They shared their concerns about the mistakes on social media.
Students across the state took the MHT CET PCM (Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics) exam on Sunday. Many students said there were errors in the Math section. They reported that over 20 questions had no correct answer among the 4 options given.
After many emails from students and parents, the Maharashtra CET Cell looked at the disputed questions. They decided to hold a new exam for the affected students. According to media reports, 27,306 English-medium students took the MHT-CET (PCM) exam on Sunday. 3,473 Marathi-medium and 241 Urdu-medium students also appeared for the exam.
The State CET Cell says the list of candidates who took the April 27 exam will be on their website. Only these candidates can take the Maharashtra CET re-exam. The admit cards for the MHT CET 2025 re-test will be released through the candidates' login.
