NIFT 2025 Application Deadline Today! The National Testing Agency will close the regular registration window for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Examination 2025 today, January 6, 2025. Eligible candidates seeking admission to NIFT's various undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs can complete their registration on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.

NIFT 2025 Important Dates and Application 

The NIFT Entrance Exam 2025 will be conducted on February 9, 2025, for admission to various programs, including Bachelor of Design (BDes), Master of Design (MDes), and other undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at 18 NIFT campuses across the country. The last date for regular registration is today, but there are additional deadlines for specific categories:

1. Bachelor of Design (BDes) under Artisan Category and PhD Program: Registrations for both categories shall close on February 28, 2025.
2. Undergraduate and postgraduate programs for NRI students and foreign students. The final date for all such registrations would be April 30, 2025.

Candidates are advised to visit the official website and complete their registration before the deadline.

NIFT 2025: Registration Fees and Payment 

The NIFT 2025 registration fee varies based on the candidate’s category:

1. Open, OBC, and EWS Candidates: Rs 3,000
2. SC, ST, and PwD Candidates: Rs 1,500

Candidates who do not make it to the general NIFT registration deadline will be given the chance to apply with a late fee. Between January 7 and January 9, 2025, they can apply for an additional Rs 5,000 late fee, together with the usual registration fee.

NIFT 2025 Application Correction Facility

Candidates who successfully register for NIFT 2025 exam will be able to make necessary corrections to their applications through the correction window, which will be available from January 10 to January 12, 2025.

NIFT 2025: Exam Pattern and Medium

The official notification says that the NIFT 2025 Entrance Exam will have two main components: the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT).

1. General Ability Test (GAT): This will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format and will be bilingual (Hindi and English). The candidates will have to answer in the medium they choose during the application process. In case of any confusion due to translation between Hindi and English versions, the English version will be considered final.
2. Creative Ability Test (CAT): This test will be held in a pen-and-paper-based test (PBT) format.

Candidates are well advised to prepare both for the written and the practical parts of the entrance test.

As the final NIFT 2025 registration deadline approaches, students seeking to apply must complete their applications before the window closes. Late registrants can also apply by paying the additional late fee, but they have to hurry as the late registration period will close on January 9, 2025. Candidates are also reminded of the correction window and the important date of the exam, which is February 9, 2025.
