The National Testing Agency will be conducting day 2 of the UGC NET exam from today: January 6, 2025. According to the schedule put up, UGC NET Dec session day 2 exam shift 1 for the following papers are scheduled: Computer Science and Applications, Persian, Russian, Bengali, Chinese, Rajasthani and Arab Culture and Islamic Studies.

The UGC NET 2025 shift 2 exam from 3 to 6 PM is scheduled for Political Science and Comparative Literature. UGC NET 2024 exam for 85 subjects is scheduled on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, and 16. The UGC NET 2024 admit card can be downloaded from the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

While appearing for the exam, candidates are expected to adhere to the following Instructions and guidelines by UGC NET:

1. Carry a printout of the UGC NET admit card while appearing for the exam. UGC NET 2024 admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of NTA.
2. They should also carry at least 2 passport-size photographs (uploaded in the UGC NET application form).
3. Reach the exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time that is mentioned on the admit card to avoid any last-minute hassle.
4. Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, or any other electronic devices are not allowed inside the examination hall.
5. Dress comfortably in simple clothes. Do not wear big-buttoned dresses, ornaments, or any other metallic accessories since they are banned.

What to Carry at UGC NET 2024 Exam Jan 6

Candidates appearing for the UGC NET exam should check below the list of items that they have to carry at the UGC NET 2024 exam centre:

1. Admit Card: An Admit Card is a printed document required for entry.
2. Valid ID Proof: Carry a government-issued ID such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
3. Photograph: Bring a passport-sized photograph, preferably the same as the one uploaded during the application process.
4. Stationery: Candidates should carry a transparent ballpoint pen and may bring a transparent water bottle.
