The Holy Shrine Suyambu Arulmigu Adhiparasakthi Siddhar Peedam is situated at Melmaruvathur(in Tamil Nadu) which is 92 km South of Chennai on the NH 45. This place is being considered holy for the past 2000 years. This is the place where 21 siddhars, men and women, have their Jeeva Samadis. These Siddhars belong to various religions. This is the Holy Land where a lady Siddhar resides and blesses. His Holiness Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar is the very incarnation of Goddess Adhiparasakthi, who has taken the human form at Melmaruvathur to hold Dharma. 

The devotees reverently and affectionately address His Holiness Adigalar as ‘AMMA’ symbolizing the Universal Mother. He is one Sakthi Upachaka whose appearance is just the personification of Simplicity. He is one living Siddhar who raises the prestige of the country through mass prayers. He has been showing by practice that spirituality is a combination of devotion and duty which basically means service to the downtrodden. He is one wise man, who lives with family like any other common man and is the one who gives equal rights to women in the field of spirituality.

Infrastructure and facilities:

Central Library-

The College Library was started in the year 1984 and also functions in the Main Building of the college (Main Block). Now it has been shifted to a spacious New Central Library Block with an area of 4000 Sq.mt. It is a two-storied Building. A Conference Hall, Audio-visual section, Reference Section, Language Lab, and Digital Library are on the first floor Stacksections, Circulation Section, Informal Reading Section, Book Bank Section, and binding Section are on the Ground Floor.

Computer Centre and Computer Facilities-

Apart from individual computer labs from the IT (60 Computers) and Computer Science (60 Computers) Department, we have a centralized Computer Centre that is fully air-conditioned. At a time 400 students can work individually.

Wi-Fi Enabled Campus -

APEC has entered into an e-revolution by making its entire campus with a Wi-Fi of 45 mbps top speed, thanks to the dedicated leased line connectivity. The campus-wide Wi-Fi enables 24/7 indoor and outdoor access, including both the hostels which also enables the users to access most of the prominent e-journals, resources, and web browsing.

Hostel

24 x 7 Power Supply-The college has a 24-hour high tension power supply from TNEB. A separate powerhouse, with two generators of 500 KVA capacities is commissioned to provide power supply to the entire campus in the event of power failure. While two additional generators take care of the hostel campus.

Sports Complex-

APEC has a sprawling sports complex consisting of outdoors, indoors, and a hydraulic gymnasium. The spacious outdoor court has the capability of accommodating 400 meters of a standard track, including a lobby to play cricket, football, hockey, basketball, tennis, badminton, and handball. While the fully air-conditioned and fully equipped indoor court has space for basketball, shuttle crock, table tennis, volleyball, and other small sports. To install the habit of physical exercise, a sophisticated hydraulic gymnasium has been added up with other facilities. The treadmills, vibrating belts, and multi-gym apparatus adorn this new inclusion. It also has an exclusive modern indoor stadium with wooden floor finishing and a seating capacity of 600.

Transport facility is well provided for students and staff, who commute to college from far away places. Around 90 km radius of distance is covered by the 10 numbers of well-maintained college buses, which connect various places like Chennai, Chengalpet, Cheyyar, Kalpakkam, Kanchipuram, Tindivanam, Pondicherry, Vandavasi, and Villupuram. Moreover, APEC MMR is well connected by Road and Railways.

A central Bank of India extension counter working inside the campus is functioning on all working days from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.ATMs of Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank and Central Bank of India are found at the entrance of the College campus.

Health Care Centre -

The health care center facilities for the students are provided by Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (MAPIMS.org), a multi-facility 24/7 hospital inside the (Educational institution) campus, which provides treatment free of cost. Apart from that, Adhiparasakthi Engineering College has a dedicated General physician Dr. Appanraj, and a College Ambulance.
