Army Institute of Law is a private law school in Mohali, Punjab, India. The institute is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, and is run by the Army Welfare Education Society. The institute has a moderately sized campus in Sector 68, Mohali. The hostels can house 400 students.
The Army Institute of Law (AIL) turned to set up in July 1999 via way of means of the Indian Army beneath neath the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) at its meantime place at Patiala. In July 2003, the Institute shifted to Sector 68, Mohali. On December 1, 2003, the Mohali Campus turned into inaugurated via way of means of H.E. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the then President of India. The Institute is affiliated with the Punjabi University, Patiala. With 'Aspire & Achieve' as its motto, the Institute has grown as a Centre of Excellence withinside the area of felony education.

The selection for admission is on the basis of an entrance examination conducted by the respected Institute itself.

The placement cell of the Army Institute of Law focuses on providing their students with practical experiences for their CV building and development overall and offers them placements in their respective final academic year of the law study program. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council have accredited AIL with a grade 'A'. The institution offers 5-year integrated BA LLB programme and a 1-year postgraduate LLM programme with a specialisation in Family Law or Criminal Law. Both the programmes offered by the institution are approved by the Bar Council of India.
AIL offers a one-year postgraduate L.L.M. program with options to specialize in Criminal Law or Family law. The prestigious course enrolls passionate students on the basis of a common entrance examination.
