Infrastructure

The campus is spread over the land of 10 acres. Starting with 240 seats with the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Programme, the institute now has a total intake of 924 in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Civil Engineering. The institute also offers a Postgraduate program in Computer Engineering.

Auditorium

We have an enormous and fully air-conditioned auditorium with an elegant space of 240 seats a nice projector with widescreen on the stage, wireless mikes, and a laptop with the latest features guest room as well as rest room. ACET auditorium has with state-of-the-art multimedia system. It is frequently used for presentations, seminars, fests, and events of the college. The College Auditorium has a fixed stage It has wonderful acoustics and a warm and welcoming ambiance. It is a perfect venue for musicals, theatre, and performances, as well as lectures, conferences, and seminars.

Classrooms

Classrooms are one of the main platforms where effective learning takes place. We have taken all the possible care while designing our world-class classrooms so that our students get effective learning from teachers and facilitate participative learning. ACET also comes equipped with a state-of-the-art distance education classroom with a SMART board, broadcasted whiteboards, a plasma TV, and a document camera. All of these things are used to provide an interactive learning experience. Our classrooms are well-ventilated spacious, and equipped with overhead and LCD projectors along with a public address system with proper arrangements for Laptop power supply. The furniture used in classrooms is of un-compromised international quality to enable students for 8 hours of comfortable and continuous learning. ACET has a total of 30 classrooms in the main building and 12 classrooms in the diploma building.

Computer Centre

Central Computer Centre is a central computing facility which fulfills the computing requirements of the institute. The computer center is equipped with more than 70 PCs. All the terminals in this center have the LINUX Operating System. A feedback portal of the college is implemented in this lab. Central Computer Centre provides services to conduct all the online tests of the campus recruitment of UG and PG Students of all branches. Aptitude tests for Training and Placement of UG and PG students are also taken in the Central Computer Centre. All students in the Institute are entitled to have a login in the center according to their enrolment number. Students are permitted to enter the Central Computer Centre only with their Identity Cards.

Workshop

In ACET we have a modern workshop facility that supports the teaching and research activities of the mechanical engineering department. The workshop imparts basic knowledge of various hand tools and machines and their usage in different sections of manufacturing. The workshop covers an area of approx 1143 sq m and has a dedicated staff of 4 workshop technicians. The general workshop is used by first and second-semester students of all branches while mechanical engineering students work in manufacturing process subjects during the second and third years. The workshop has around 50 tables for carrying out various job work. The workshop is mainly divided into seven different shops: Carpentry Shop, Fitting Shop, Smithy Shop, Tin Smithy Shop, Foundry Shop, Welding Shop, and Machining Shop. In the welding shop, we have instruments for Arc, gas, and Spot welding while the foundry shop has facilities for Sand Casting. The workshop is also equipped with all the measuring instruments, various hand tools, and safety apparatus necessary for a precise and safe working environment for manufacturing processes.

Library

The ACET Library serves dynamic facility for technical learning. The library, besides having more than 11000 books on engineering, science, language, and humanities offers library services through its various divisions including Gujarati novels, encyclopedias, dictionaries etc. The library subscribes to International, and national journals, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals. The Library has Internet facilities consisting of some networked terminals for providing recent and comprehensive access to e-journals and other e-reference resources to the faculty and students. The library has automated all its routine activities through library software called 'SOUL 2.0' and also extended the scope of various services like database search, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), Web-based OPAC, scanning, NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning)Video Lecture facilities available and all the books of the library having bar-code.

Canteen

The canteen is a hub of students at ACET, where they enjoy delicious and hygienic snacks and cold and hot drinks. In Canteen, students enjoy a variety of food including Gujarati, Punjabi, and Chinese. On the College Campus, we have two canteens for Students. Students avail of this facility from early morning to late in the evening. The trust manages the standard of the canteen. To run this procedure smoothly, ACET has also formed the Food & Hygiene Committee. Members of this committee look after the quality, availability, and price of food served in the canteen.

Sports Facility

The institute provides ample opportunities for the students to take part in all indoor and outdoor sports activities. The sports complex is located adjacent to the college and has facilities for playing and practicing Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Kho-Kho, and Cricket. Intercollege tournaments, inter-class matches, and annual athletic meets are regular features in the sports section. Many of the students represent the college at GTU and AIU (ALL INDIA UNIVERSITY) levels.

Transportation

The transportation facility at ALPHA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY is vivid because its route covers mainline areas of Ahmedabad city. The fleet includes 10-12 buses for students as well as staff members from various pick-up points in the city. AMTS bus service is also available just one km away from our institute.
