Amity University, Gwalior - Admission 2023-24

Aspirants can apply through both online and offline modes for all courses.

Selection criteria for UG courses include the Amity Test conducted by the university, merit, and interview (Except in programs like Management, Liberal arts, Computer Science, and Communication).

PG aspirants are admitted through the Amity test conducted by the university, merit, and Interview (Except for English Literature, Commerce, and Communication programs).

For an MBA, candidates can either get admission through their CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT score or through the Amity written test conducted by the university.

For the B.Tech program, candidates can either get admission through the Amity JEE score or direct admission through the JEE Main score.

For UG courses, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with marks meeting the eligibility criteria of the respective program they have applied for.

For PG courses, candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s degree in the respective field.

Direct Admission Process: Students securing 80%+ aggregate in 10+2 from a recognized board are exempted from the selection process. It will be only on the basis of the Amity Application Form.

Students may apply provisionally for any course but need to produce all the original mark sheets/ degrees at the time of registration.

Amity University Gwalior B.Tech Admission 2023

Amity Gwalior offers B.Tech courses in total 9 specializations. Candidates applying for this course must have scored at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Math and English combined in 10+2.

The eligible candidates can apply for the Amity JEE exam and selection would be done on the basis of the score obtained by the candidate followed by a test on the day of the interview. Direct admission is also done on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main.

Key Points:

The number of seats available for B.Tech Biotechnology, Civil Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg. and IT is 120.

Candidates securing more than a score of 30 in JEE Main will be admitted directly and will be exempted from the university entrance test and Interview.

Students whose 10+2 exam results have not been declared can also apply and get admission provisionally until the result is declared.

Students with a compartment in their 10+2 examination will not be considered for admission.

Amity University Gwalior UG Admission 2023: BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Arch

Amity University Gwalior offers admission into various UG courses. The minimum eligibility to apply for these courses is 10+2 from a recognized board. The eligibility percentage varies from course to course.

Admission in B.Arch is based on the score of NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. Admission to the rest of the courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination followed by an interview and a test/creative test conducted by the interview.

Key Points:

In aggregate percentage, Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/non-written subjects will only be considered for respective disciplines.

Non-sponsored is a high-merit category. The sponsored category applies to the relatively lower merit category with high fees. Request for change in category will be entertained only prior to appearing for Test/Interview.

Students with more than 80% aggregate in class 10+2 are exempted from the selection process and are given direct admission.

Amity University Gwalior M.Tech Admission 2023

Amity Gwalior offers five specializations in M.Tech. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for M.Tech is a B.Tech degree in the relevant specialization. Selection would be made on the basis of merit, interview, and an entrance test on the day of an interview conducted by the university.

Amity University Gwalior MBA Admission 2023

Amity Gwalior offers 4 different specializations in the MBA program. Candidates with more than 50% aggregate marks in graduation are eligible to apply. The final selection is done on the basis of CAT/ MAT/XAT/NMAT/ GMAT score and an interview. Selection can also be made on the basis of the Amity test taken by the university on the day of the interview.

Note: Candidates who have scored MAT- 550 or CAT/XAT - 80 percentile NMAT 65 percentile or GMAT - 500 are exempted from the Amity written test.

Amity University Gwalior PG Admission 2023: M.Sc, MA, M.Com, LL.M

Amity University Gwalior offers admission to Masters Course on the basis of merit, interview, and Amity test conducted by the university on the same day as the interview. Candidates are required to have completed their graduation in the relevant stream from a recognized university.

Note: Final Year appearing students of Graduation / Post Graduation should meet minimum eligibility until the last qualifying Semester / Year and should not have any back paper / essential repeat.

Amity University Gwalior Ph.D. Admission 2023

Amity University Gwalior offers Ph.D. in 10 specializations at the doctoral level. The basic eligibility criterion is a Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. Candidates with 50% marks in an M.Phil degree are also eligible to apply.

Selection is done on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test) conducted by Amity University and an interview followed by the test. Candidates can choose their PET date according to their convenience from the available dates.

Key Points:

Candidates who don’t have a Master’s degree but a B.Tech/B. Arch degree with exceptionally good marks (minimum 55% or 6.0 CGPA) can apply for a Ph.D. in the relevant stream.

Candidates who possess an MBBS degree with a minimum 55% or 5.5 CGPA can also apply for a Ph.D. in the relevant stream.

Candidates with a Chartered Accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with a minimum 55% mark or equivalent grade are also eligible to apply for a Ph.D. in Management.

Candidates who have cleared an All India Examination or NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE will be exempted from PET. They will be required to appear for the Personal Interview.

Choose the online option, fill out the form, and complete all the steps by filling in the required details and also attach the given documents:

Pay the application fees of INR 1100 using a Debit / Credit card.

Save a copy of the Application Form.

Successful application after the payment of application fees will create a microsite where the candidates can keep a check on the status of the application/interview dates etc.
