1. Students interested in applying for undergraduate courses shall be admitted directly through the merit of marks obtained in the HSC qualifying examination.

2. To seek admission they must have passed their HSC exam in a relevant stream.

3. Admissions in the case of Master’s courses in Chemistry and Geography shall be based on an entrance exam conducted by the college.

4. Selection of candidates to Master’s courses in Botany and Zoology shall be done through the merit of marks obtained in aggregate in bachelor’s degree.

5. Forms can be obtained directly from the college on cash payment or downloaded from the official website.

6. The downloaded application form has to be submitted along with the Demand Draft of the requisite amount issued in favor of “The Principal, B. Borooah College”, payable at Guwahati.

B. Borooah College Admission

Students need to visit the official website of the college (http://www.bborooahcollege.ac.in/) to apply for the course they are interested in.

They need to fill up the form along with the necessary details, scanned copies of photos, and signatures along with payment of the registration fee online.

Selected candidates then need to proceed towards admission which shall be held online as well. For that, they need to generate their Unique ID from the Office Web Portal (http://dheonlineadmission.amtron.in/sp/) that is developed by the Director of Higher Education Assam.

During the time of admission, the candidates need to produce documents such as:

Original Mark sheet of the last qualifying exam

Certificate of qualification

Certificate from the head of the institution last attended

Passport size photographs (2 nos)

Caste Certificate (if required)

Provisional Certificate (if required)

Extracurricular Certificate.
