Established in 2006, it is one of the oldest institutes in Odisha. Facilities and Infrastructure

Hostel

Campus Hostel facilities for both Boys and Girls are provided on twin sharing basis. Around 50 well-appointed, spacious, lighted and well-ventilated rooms are available. Full-time administrative staff are deployed to take care of the student’s requirements. The hostel is also equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity dedicated library, a meditation room, indoor games and a gymnasium for the recreation of students.

Canteen

Healthy and hygienic food is available to all the students in BCCM Canteen which is open from morning till late at night. The students’ committee manages and monitors the operations of the canteen.

Library

The library of BCCM is equipped with around 4,500 titles of books consisting of more than 11,142 volumes. There is also a book bank system that contains prescribed textbooks of reputed authors. BCCM library subscribes to 22 national journals, 4 international journals and an online database “DELNET” that provides an access to several e-journals. Besides the library also subscribes to a large number of newspapers, periodicals and magazines that caters to the interest of staff and students.

Classroom

All the classrooms of BCCM are fully air-conditioned with comfortable sitting arrangements. They are equipped with modern and latest technological teaching aids including LCD projection facilities, glass boards, computers, PA system & CCTV security.

Auditorium

BCCM has got two fully air-conditioned auditoriums equipped with the latest electronic equipment for the best projection and sound system. One auditorium can accommodate 220 persons and the other one has got a capacity of 150 seats. Both the auditorium remains occupied around the year for various cultural, literary, and musical events, conferences & workshops. Several industry institution interfaces are housed in the auditoriums where eminent personalities, iconic businessmen and renowned celebrities participate in different kinds of functions and deliberations.

Computer Lab

BCCM has the most modern, state-of-the-art computer centres with over 100 computer systems configured with the latest software. Computers are also available in the library, classrooms and lecture theatre.

Placement

The institute conducts regular group discussions on current topics. Industry persons and recruiters guide students in quality deliberations. They are recorded and feedback is provided to the students to improvise further. Regular debates and public speaking sessions are also organized for the benefit of students. To stimulate actual Interview scenarios, the institute organizes mock interviews with experienced Industry executives. This helps the students to gain confidence and perform well in Interviews during the Placement.

Admission Procedure

Eligibility
The student should be a graduate in any discipline. The candidates expected to complete their graduate degree course by the 15th of July of the current year can also apply.
Admission to PGDM Institution shall be made only from the candidates qualified from any one of the six All India tests, i.e.; CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments. The Candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks (for the General Category) and minimum45% marks (SC/ST Category) in Graduation.
Short Listing Criteria
The candidates shall be shortlisted based on the overall rank computed taking into account the following components and their weights:
Score in the Common Admission test - 35 %
The score for academic performance in X Std., XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Degree - 25%
Group Discussion and Personal Interview - 20 % Weightage for participation in Sports & Extra-Curricular activities (5%), Academic diversity (5%), Gender diversity (5%) and Work Experience (5%)
Qualifying/Cut-Off Marks
Students should secure a minimum of 35% marks out of the total marks for evaluation.
