This institute was established in 2019-20, as Govt. Polytechnic, Panchkula. This session there are 4 Diploma courses running at the institute with approximately 220 students on a roll under the guidance of mature, dedicated, experienced, and highly qualified staff. The Institute is spread over an area of about 5.1 acres. The campus is laid out with teaching blocks, Canteen, Play Ground, Separate Common room for Girls and Boys. College has a well-equipped Conference hall with a seating capacity of over 350 people. The hall is spacious, well-ventilated, and has well-furnished halls. A regular venue for conferences, workshops, and seminars, this hall has all the facilities to enhance the learning process and is a vast space that serves the varied requirements of quality education.

Five computer labs are equipped with 100, Core II Duo processors and i5 processors all connected through Local Area Network and internet through a 60 Mbps leased line. All Labs are equipped with Multifunctional printers, UPS, and industry-supported software. There are Language Lab, Project Lab, Electrical Lab, Analog Electronics Lab, Communication Lab, Digital & Micro Processor Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Thermodynamic Lab, Automobile Lab, Inspection & Quality Control Lab, Fluid Mechanic Lab, Applied Mechanic Lab, Refrigeration & Air conditioning Lab, Theory of Machine Lab, Highway Engg. Lab, Soil & Foundation Engg. Lab, Survey Lab, Concrete Technology Lab, Building Construction Lab, Water Supply & water Waste Engg. Lab for imparting practical knowledge to the students.
