Andhra Pradesh is a fast-growing State in all aspects and is acquiring importance both at National and International level. The fields of Architecture, Engineering, Fine Arts, Management and Pharmacy have become essential for the growth of our country. To meet the need of experienced professionals with practical, creative and real life problem solving skills in art, design and architecture, Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University is established to offer quality and state-of-the art education.
Earlier, Under the special policy of providing systematic schooling in Art and Architecture to the prevailing wishes of the layout industry, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University became established under the Act of Andhra Pradesh State Legislature No.31 of 2008 with the aid of using Late Dr. YS. Rajasekhara Reddy Garu Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. After the separation of the Telugu kingdom into particularly Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Prof. D. Vijay Kishore (OSD, Vice-Chancellor I/c), made the concept of a separate Architecture and Fine Arts University withinside the kingdom of Andhra Pradesh to the honorable Chief Minister Sri. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu and the State Government.

Dr. Y. S. R. Architecture & Fine Arts University courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e. B. Des Interior Design, (B.F.A.), B. Residential Accommodation:
Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University provides residential facilities separately for boys and girls. Most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we desired to offer them a comfortable, secure, and homely set-up on the campus. All the rooms have been designed to provide a good enough transferring area and sufficient air and light.
The hostel facility includes a bed and a study table per student. This facility will be on a sharing foundation with the man college students. In order to facilitate a cushy life for our college students, we've determined the sharing capability to max three college students for smaller rooms and four humans for big rooms. The dining facility may be withinside the Hostel premises.
The hostel facility will be maintained hygienically, students will be served veg/non-veg food on a weekly basis. Hostel facilities could be allocated on first cum first serve basis. Hostel Charges could be Rs. 4000/-(approximately) consistent with month which includes everything.
Library:
The Fine Arts Library is a key resource that provides centers for character study, research, and a collection of materials. The library’s series comprises about ten thousand literacy which includes books, journals, exhibition catalogs, and visible media. Our series consists of records of the humanities with a selected consciousness of cutting-edge and present-day artists and movements. The series consists of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, Journals, etc.
Medical Facility:
To ensure students’ well-being, Dr. Y. S. R. Architecture & Fine Arts University offers notable scientific centers with a complete-time crew of docs to be had 24x7 inside the Campus. Stretchers, wheelchairs, and different gadgets are on steady standby for any eventuality. An ambulance facility is likewise to be had inside the Campus in case of any emergency.
Sports Facilities:
Dr. Y. S. R. Architecture & Fine Arts University has indoor games, table tennis, chess, and carom facilities as well as outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc.
Cafe/Mess Facility:
Dr. Y. S. R. Architecture & Fine Arts University has a big dining area that caters to the students and the faculty. The facility is properly equipped with all necessary kitchen equipment and serves fresh snacks, meals, and chilled beverages. Breakfast and Lunch are served at the cafeteria on a pre-paid basis at reasonable rates. The Cafeteria is managed by a professional team and all the operations are overlooked by a dietician.
