Admission Procedure

1. NEET- PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MDS Courses. 

2. The National Board of Examinations has been notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conduct NEET-PG 2023 on an All-India basis.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET-PG 2023

Candidates who have a BDS degree / Provisional BDS Pass Certificate from a Dental College / Institute duly recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Dental Council Act, possess either a permanent or provisional registration certificate of BDS or an equivalent qualification issued by the Dental Council of India / State Dental Council and have completed one year of Internship st or are likely to complete the same on or before 31 March 2023 may apply for NEET-PG through online application system at www.nbe.edu.in

Common Counseling

There shall be common counseling for admission to all postgraduate courses MDS in all Dental Educational Institutions on the basis of the merit list of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. Common counseling shall be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services. 

Documents Required

The candidate shall bring original and the photocopies of the following documents at the time of admission -

i) NEET- MDS-2023 Admit Card with confirmation slip.

ii) NEET- MDS-2023 Marks sheet cum result certificate.

iii) NEET- MDS-2023 Rank sheet / Rank percentile.

iv) Statement of Marks of I, II, III, IVBDS examination

v) Attempt Certificate

vi) BDS Degree/Passing Certificate

vii) Internship Completion Certificate

viii) Registration Certificate (DCI/State DC)

ix) Gap Certificate Affidavit (If applicable)

x) Any one of the authorized Photo IDs (Bring the original at the time of counselling)

(a) Pan Card 

(b) Aadhaar Card 

(c) Driving License

(d) Voter ID 

(e) Passport

Age, Nationality / Domicile Certificate / Passport

(Photocopy)

xii) Cast, Validity & Non Creamy layer Certificate

(if applicable)

xiii) Bonafide Certificate from Dean

xiv) Transfer Certificate

xv) Migration Certificate

xvi) Proof of Date of Birth

xvii) Minimum 5 copies of photographs measuring 35x45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the face & head of the candidate. A caption indicating the name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph should mentioned at the bottom. The photograph should be taken in a white/very light-colored background.

xviii) The duration of the post-graduation Course is 3 years.

Cut off

The College Cut-off is the minimum mark prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. A merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute need to clear the Cutoff for various courses.

Aspirants are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in the NEET 2022 entrance examination in order to qualify for further admission process.
Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC are required to obtain marks equivalent to at least 40 percent to be considered for the AIQ and state counseling process.
Aspirants who belong to the UR category are required to score equivalent to at least the 50th percentile.
