• Most courses are awarded to those who have passed the qualifying exam. However, for a few courses, the university will accept scores from the entrance exam like the JEE Main, the CAT, the MAT, and the UTU-SEE.

• Students who live in Uttarakhand are eligible for 30% off B.Tech course seats

• Some of the specialized/professional courses require the applicants to score at least 50% marks in their last qualifying exam.

• Admission to the university is determined solely by merit.

• The JEE Main score is required to be eligible for admission to the BTech program.

• Admissions to MTech are determined by GATE Score.

• For admission to MBA programs, applicants must have passed the CAT/MAT exams.
