IBSSCE Approved by AICTE: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established in November 1945 as a national-level apex advisory body to conduct a comprehensive survey of the available facilities for technical education and promote development in a coordinated and integrated manner across the country. The AICTE Act was formulated to establish the council, intending to facilitate proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education system throughout India. IBSSCE Affiliated with SGBAU: Established on Maharashtra Day, May 1st, 1983, Amravati University was founded with the primary aim of addressing the educational needs of the rural population in western Vidarbha. The university's jurisdiction spans across five districts of Vidarbha, including Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldana, and Washim. Over the years, the university has witnessed significant growth, currently accommodating approximately 400,000 students.
