The Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), formerly known as the Postgraduate Correspondence School (PGCS), was established in May 1998 to provide quality higher education opportunities to a large number of students unable to continue their studies in traditional ways. Education.  IDOL strives to accommodate students who are unable to attend due to various factors such as B. limited places in the high schools, enforced restraint, etc., cannot enroll in the traditional higher education system, and aims to provide quality education in an intellectually challenging environment. The Institute of Distance Education and Open Learning (IDOL) completed its 19th anniversary in May 2017 and intends to continue its mission of disseminating and delivering quality education to students.  Beginning with 514 students and 6 courses in May 1998, IDOL is now growing across the board, enrolling over 15,000 students in multiple programs in a learning environment equipped with the latest technology.
