IIT Roorkee offers a B.Tech Program field of Science and Technology for 4 years. Students with good scores in JEE Advanced will be considered eligible for B.Tech programs. B.Tech programs at IIT Roorkee are offered in full-time regular mode only. IIT Roorkee Offers a B.Tech Program in 11 Specializations namely B.Tech. Biosciences and Bioengineering, B. Tech. IIT Roorkee B.Tech & B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

•Candidates should have Completed his/her 10+2 in Science Stream from a reputed board with Mathematics & Physics as main subjects. Along with this, the institute considers JEE Advanced scores. The final IIT Roorkee admission is based upon JoSAA Counselling.

IIT Roorkee B.Tech & B.Arch Selection Criteria

•Candidates need to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam.

•Eligible candidates must register for JoSSA through which counseling takes place.

•The opening and Closing rank of each specialization is released by JoSAA in different rounds.

•Based on the minimum rank cutoff, IIT Roorkee confirms the admission of eligible candidates.

IIT Roorkee M.Tech/M.Arch/M.U.R.P. Admission 2023-24

The admission to M.Tech/MArch/MURP is based upon the GATE score of the candidates. Admission is offered to full-time sponsored and part-time sponsored candidates. IIT Roorkee Offers an M.Tech Program in 49 Specializations. The minimum duration of all academic programs would be four semesters for Full-Time candidates and six semesters for Part-Time candidates.

IIT Roorkee M.Tech/MArch/MURP Eligibility:

•Minimum 60% marks are required for a Bachelor's degree or 6 CGPA on a 10-point scale. For SC/ST/PD category candidates 55% marks or 5.50 CGPA is required.

•The above-mentioned eligibility conditions apply to all regular, full-time sponsored, and part-time sponsored candidates.

•Final year students who will be completing all the requirements of their qualifying examination including back paper (s) / supplementary(ies) before the registration date are also eligible to apply for IIT Roorkee admission 2023.

•Along with the above-mentioned eligibility, candidates also need a valid GATE score to be eligible for admission to M.Tech/M.Arch/M.U.R.P.

•Direct admission without GATE will be offered to IIT graduates with a minimum CGPA of 8.00 on a 10-point scale

IIT Roorkee MBA Admission 2023-24

• The IIT Roorkee MBA program is a 2-year full-time course divided into 8 terms. The IIT Roorkee CAT cutoff goes around the 94 percentile.

IIT Roorkee MBA Eligibility

•Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PD) and have appeared for the CAT exam.

•Final-year students are also eligible to apply if they have appeared for the CAT exam.

•IIT graduates (admitted through IIT-JEE) with a CGPA of 7.0 or above can also apply and they will be exempted from the requirement of a CAT Score.

IIT Roorkee MDes and MIM Admission 2023-24

•IIT Roorkee offers M.Des (Industrial Design) and MIM programs at the PG level for two years. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.

•IIT Roorkee offers an MDes (Industrial Design) program with a total of 20 seats.

•For M.Des admissions at IIT Roorkee, candidates must appear for the CEED entrance examination, while selection for MIM will be based on the GD/PI conducted by the institute.

IIT Roorkee MDes & MIM Eligibility Criteria

•M.Des. (Industrial Design): Any candidate who has completed a four-year graduate degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 and with a valid CEED/ GATE score.

•MIM (Masters in Innovation Management): Any candidate who has completed a graduate degree in any discipline with post-degree experience of 5 years.

IIT Roorkee M.Sc Admission 2023-24

•IIT Roorkee offers a two-year M.Sc program in 7 specializations, namely, Economics, Applied Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For admission to the M.Sc program at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to appear for the JAM entrance examination.

IIT Roorkee M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

•Candidates should have at least 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 in Bachelor's degree (For SC/ST/PwD candidates a minimum of 50% or a CGPA of 5.0 is required).

•Candidates should qualify for the IIT JAM examination.

•Foreign nationals should have an Indian degree and must comply with IIT Roorke's admission policy.

IIT Roorkee M.Sc Selection Criteria

•The selection of the candidates is done through JOAPS counseling. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the JAM entrance test, choice filling, availability of seats, categories, and other factors.

IIT Roorkee Ph.D. Admission 2023-24

•IIT Roorkee offers a Ph.D. program in Science, Engineering and Technology, Management Studies, and Architecture and planning. The candidates with 60% aggregate marks in Masters are eligible to apply for the further selection process.

IIT Roorkee PhD Eligibility Criteria

•Master’s degree in relevant discipline with 60% marks (55% for reserved categories)

•Valid GATE/ JRF/GPAT/UGC NET score

•Bachelor or Master from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 and above on 10 10-point scale, are exempted from the requirement of GATE / JRF /NET/GPAT.
