IIT Roorkee offers a B.Tech Program field of Science and Technology for 4 years. Students with good scores in JEE Advanced will be considered eligible for B.Tech programs. •Candidates should have Completed his/her 10+2 in Science Stream from a reputed board with Mathematics & Physics as main subjects. Along with this, the institute considers JEE Advanced scores. The final IIT Roorkee admission is based upon JoSAA Counselling.

IIT Roorkee B.Tech & B.Arch Selection Criteria

•Candidates need to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam.

The admission to M.Tech/MArch/MURP is based upon the GATE score of the candidates. Admission is offered to full-time sponsored and part-time sponsored candidates. IIT Roorkee Offers an M.Tech Program in 49 Specializations. The minimum duration of all academic programs would be four semesters for Full-Time candidates and six semesters for Part-Time candidates.

IIT Roorkee M.Tech/MArch/MURP Eligibility:

•Minimum 60% marks are required for a Bachelor's degree or 6 CGPA on a 10-point scale. For SC/ST/PD category candidates 55% marks or 5.50 CGPA is required.

•The above-mentioned eligibility conditions apply to all regular, full-time sponsored, and part-time sponsored candidates.

•Final year students who will be completing all the requirements of their qualifying examination including back paper (s) / supplementary(ies) before the registration date are also eligible to apply for IIT Roorkee admission 2023.

• The IIT Roorkee MBA program is a 2-year full-time course divided into 8 terms. The IIT Roorkee CAT cutoff goes around the 94 percentile.

IIT Roorkee MBA Eligibility

•Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PD) and have appeared for the CAT exam.

•Final-year students are also eligible to apply if they have appeared for the CAT exam.

•IIT graduates (admitted through IIT-JEE) with a CGPA of 7.0 or above can also apply and they will be exempted from the requirement of a CAT Score.

IIT Roorkee MDes and MIM Admission 2024-25

•IIT Roorkee offers M.Des (Industrial Design) and MIM programs at the PG level for two years. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.

•IIT Roorkee offers an MDes (Industrial Design) program with a total of 20 seats.

•For M.Des admissions at IIT Roorkee, candidates must appear for the CEED entrance examination, while selection for MIM will be based on the GD/PI conducted by the institute.

IIT Roorkee MDes & MIM Eligibility Criteria

•M.Des. (Industrial Design): Any candidate who has completed a four-year graduate degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 and with a valid CEED/ GATE score.

•MIM (Masters in Innovation Management): Any candidate who has completed a graduate degree in any discipline with post-degree experience of 5 years.

•IIT Roorkee offers a two-year M.Sc program in 7 specializations, namely, Economics, Applied Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For admission to the M.Sc program at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to appear for the JAM entrance examination.
