IIT Jodhpur Scholarships

IIT Jodhpur extends the Merit Cum Means Scholarships annually to students across all categories. The selection process for the MCM Scholarship considers various factors including academic performance, merits, and parental income. However, it's important to note that only 25% of the total student body at IIT Jodhpur receives this scholarship. The eligibility criteria and details for the MCM Scholarship are outlined as follows:

Merits:

• For General and OBC Category students: First-year students must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their 12th standard examinations, while second-year students should maintain a minimum CPI of 6.5 with no backlogs.

• For SC & ST Category Students: First-year students are required to have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their 12th standard examinations, and second-year students should not have received any F grades in their courses.

Means:

The total annual family income from all sources for students across all categories should not exceed INR 6 lakhs.

Scholarship Awards:

• For General & OBC Category Students: The scholarship includes free tuition fees along with a monthly stipend of INR 1000.

• For SC & ST Category Students: The scholarship covers free dining (basic menu), exemption from hostel seat rent, and a monthly pocket allowance of INR 1000.
