IIPS administers an online entrance test for admission to all its courses. For the Master of Population Studies and M.Phil. programs, successful candidates from the entrance test are further required to participate in an interview round. The Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme involves a multi-stage process, including an entrance test, a written test (research proposal), and a personal interview. Applications can be submitted both online and offline through the official portal. Eligibility criteria include a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates in the process of completing their qualifying exams are also eligible, with an upper age limit of 25 years. The selection process is primarily based on the entrance exam conducted by the college.
To apply online, candidates can visit the official website, click on the Registration Portal to create a new account, confirm registration, fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, including photos and signatures, mention work experience if applicable, and submit the required fee.
For the offline application process, candidates can obtain the application form cum information brochure from the university campus or download it from the official website. After completing the form, IIPS, Mumbai, within the specified submission dates. The hard copy of the application form, along with supporting documents, should be sent to the designated address.
Documents required for application include X and XII mark sheets, the mark sheet of the qualifying examination, category certificate (if applicable), proof of date of birth, and a research proposal for Ph.D. applicants.
