Library at the International Institute for Population Sciences

The primary objective of the IIPS library is to support research and educational endeavors. To this end, the library boasts an extensive collection comprising 85,456 books, bound periodicals, 16,979 reprints of 26,943 indexed papers, 1,457 seminar papers, 234 Ph.D. theses, and subscriptions to 325 printed journals and 4,300 online journals. The library is fully automated using the 'System for Library and Information Management 21 Software and spans an area of 1,105 sq. m. situated between the first and second floors. This space is heated and includes study rooms with a capacity for up to 100 individuals. With a sufficient number of Wi-Fi connections, computers, and well-trained library staff, the library is well-equipped, and access to demographic data sources further enhances its capabilities.

Hostel

The International Institute For Population Sciences provides separate hostel facilities for both male and female students. With two hostels, one six stories high and the other three stories, the accommodation can house students from various classes. Full-time students are required to stay in the dormitories, which are furnished with ample living and work space, attached bathrooms, and toilets. Each hostel includes a common kitchen and two kitchenettes equipped with a deep freezer, fridge, and electric ovens.

Additionally, the hostel offers recreational facilities such as table tennis, carom, chess, outdoor games, and a gymnasium. The mess arrangements are organized by students in collaboration with the Warden.

Medical Facilities at the International Institute for Population Sciences

The International Institute For Population Sciences prioritizes the health care of its students, providing general health services to both students and staff. Two honorary doctors are appointed to offer medical advice, ensuring top-quality healthcare on campus.

Auditorium

Recognizing the importance of a conducive learning environment,International Institute For Population Sciences offers a well-equipped seminar hall with a capacity. This space is utilized for co-curricular activities, including workshops and seminars. The air-conditioned hall is equipped with modern technology, including multimedia projectors, ensuring engaging and efficient interactive sessions.

Computer Lab

The well-equipped computer labs at IIPS facilitate practical learning and staying abreast of the latest trends in computer technology. These intelligent classrooms, complete with their own library and ICT tools, enhance the learning and teaching experience.

Canteen

The International Institute For Population Sciences canteen provides a relaxing space for students to rejuvenate during breaks. The cafeteria is clean and offers a comfortable dining environment, serving delicious dishes at reasonable prices for both staff and students. RO plant purified water systems are installed in all water coolers on campus, ensuring access to clean drinking water.

In addition to the mentioned facilities, IIPS also provides services such as sports coaching, a gymkhana, food and catering services, among others.
