Majeedia Unani Hospital:

Majeedia Unani Hospital is one of the pioneers of AYUSH healthcare facility specializing in the Unani System of Medicine under the auspices of Jamia Hamdard. It is a clinical hub of traditional Unani medicine integrated with the latest medical science catering to the promotive, preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative aspects of the healthcare delivery system.

It was conceived long back as an integrated center of higher learning and healthcare in Unani Tibb (medicine) by Padam Shree and Padma Bhushan, Late Hakeem Abdul Hameed Sb. It is a teaching hospital associated with the School of Unani Medical Education and Research (SUMER) to provide quality Unani medical education and training to students. The Hospital is also been actively engaged in clinical research for the last three decades.

Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital:

In the first phase, the Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is supported by a teaching hospital, namely, the 606 Bedded Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital. This is in conformity with Medical Council of India guidelines.

Convention Center:

Since its very inception as a center of learning and research, Jamia Hamdard has drawn scholars and researchers from all over the world. As its institutions have grown, so has the influx of visitors who come to avail of the wealth of knowledge offered by its institutions thus providing an opportunity to interact with people of similar interests and pursuits.

Scholars House:

On the campus, there is a guest house called Scholars’ House with 12 double-bed air-conditioned rooms and 27 single-bed rooms, out of the Reception of Scholars House which 18 single-bed rooms are air-conditioned and 9 single-bed rooms are air-cooled, 4 flats with 4 air-conditioned bedrooms with living room, dining room and a small lounge equipped with telephone, television, refrigerator and a small kitchenette, with an attendant to provide all the comforts require d is also a part of our guest house. Besides accommodating University guests, outside examiners, and members of the selection board, this guest house is used for residential conferences and has proved very useful for the participants of the conferences.

Hostel Facilities:

In view of limited hostel accommodations, the students should note that their admission to University does not guarantee the allotment of hostel accommodation. Annual hostel charges are payable in advance at the time of allotment. It will be incumbent upon the student admitted to the hostel to join the mess and pay mess charges for three months in advance at the rates prescribed from time to time. Mess charges may be revised at any time due to an escalation in the prices of food items. The Hostel mess will be managed on a cooperative basis under the supervision of hostel authorities, on a no profit-no loss basis. 

TRANSMISSION ELECTRON MICROSCOPY (TEM) FACILITY:

Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) is ideal for a number of diverse fields such as life sciences, nanotechnology, medical, biological and material research, forensic analysis, geology, and metallurgy as well as industry and education. TEM provides topographical, morphological, compositional, and crystalline information. The images allow the researchers to view samples on a molecular level, making it possible to analyze structure and texture. This information is useful in the study of crystals and metals. TEM can be used in semiconductor analysis and the production of silicon chips.
