2. Candidates from outside Maharashtra state must fulfill the educational qualifications specified in the "Entry Requirement" section and should qualify the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the academic year. They are eligible for admission against the 15% reserved seats.
3. For diploma holders: After admitting candidates who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in points 1 and 2 above, if vacancies still exist after the cutoff date declared by the relevant Government authority, the principal may admit diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in engineering technology with a minimum of 50% marks and English as the medium of instruction from polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE, approved autonomous polytechnics in Maharashtra state (for Maharashtra state candidates) or such polytechnics situated in or outside Maharashtra state (for candidates from outside Maharashtra state). Such admissions are also based on the merit of the candidate who applied for the particular unaided institute.
JCEM Polytechnic Admission:
1. Upon the announcement of results based on cut-off marks and individual performance, the admission process will commence.
2. Candidates aspiring for admission to First-year Engineering and Technology degree courses are required to appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics examinations. Admission to B.Tech courses in Maharashtra for the year 2020 will be determined by JEE Main & MH CET scores. Failure to participate in any of these entrance exams will render candidates ineligible for the admission process.
3. Information regarding the counseling procedure, schedule, and other relevant details will be communicated through the DTE website. Candidates must register for counseling to partake in the process. During counseling, candidates are required to indicate their preferences for colleges and courses. Subsequently, seats will be allocated based on these preferences and candidates' ranks.
4. Furthermore, candidates are obligated to remit the counseling fee to the designated authority. Upon receiving the provisional seat allotment letter, candidates can proceed to finalize their admission by reporting to the assigned college.
