About KTR Women's College, Krishna

This was the first women’s college started in the vicinity of Gudivada, the town which has great Social, Cultural, Literary, and Spiritual Significance. It is the birthplace of many Literary luminaries like Tripuraneni Rama Swamy, Jaaladi, and film celebrities like N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and K. Satya Narayana. The college was registered under the Societies Registration Act of XXI by 1860 bearing No 84, 1968 dated 16th December 1968, District Registrar, Krishna. The college was recognized as per GO MS NO 1206, dated 12th June 1970and was admitted into Grant-in-aid from July 1977 onwards.

Residential Accommodation

Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with Wi-Fi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 150 students each with good infrastructure.
