Eligibility Criteria for B.Com {Hons.} (MMUSC), Ambala 

The candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination of any recognized Board/ University. The candidate should have at least five subjects including English as one of the subjects. The candidates must obtain at least 40% marks in Commerce Group or Non-Commerce Groups with Economics/Maths/Statistics as one of the subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA (MMUSC), Ambala 

The candidates should secure a minimum of 60% marks (45% in the case of SC/ ST category and 50% in the case of NRI Seat) in aggregate in their Bachelor's degree examination in any discipline from any recognized University. The candidates who have passed in final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India/ Institute of Company Secretaries of India are also eligible to apply for an MBA.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc (MMUSC), Ambala 

B.Sc. (Hons) in their concerned subject from any recognized University, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ ST candidates) to be eligible to apply for M.Sc in their respective subjects. Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc in Medical (MMUSC), Ambala The candidates should have passed B.Sc. with at least one subject of Biological Sciences or BAMS or MBBS or BDS or BHMS or B.Sc.(N) or B. Pharm or BPT or B.Sc.(MLT) from a recognized University.B.Sc. graduates with Physics and Chemistry/ Bio Chemist options could be considered for admission to M.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry.

Application Process (MMUSC), Ambala 

Maharishi Markandeshwar University Sadopur Campus (MMUSC), Ambala admission form can be obtained from the Administrative Office of the respective University/Institute on payment of Rs. 900/- (US$ 30 in the case of NRI/Foreign Nationals). Those who want the Admission Form by post should send a DD of Rs. 950/- in favor of the Registrar of the concerned University/Institute. The Admission Form can also be downloaded from the website of the concerned University/Institute. however, such candidates will have to enclose a DD of Rs. 900/- with the downloaded Admission Form. The Admission Form for admission to the course, duly completed in all respects, must be accompanied by the following documents:

 1. A recent passport-size photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the Admission Form with two additional copies to be appended with the Admission Form.

2. Attested copies of the Matriculation/Secondary/Senior Secondary School Certificate or a Certificate of its equivalent public examination showing the candidate’s date of birth.

3. Attested copies of having passed/appearing in qualifying examination duly attested by the Principal of the School/College/Institution last attended by the candidate.

4. Character Certificate reporting on the interpersonal/social behavioral pattern of the applicant issued by the School/College/Institution last attended by the candidate

5. Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH/ESM for statistical information or for getting the benefit of relaxation in age or marks in the qualifying examination or for reservation of seat at MMU Solan and MMU Sadopur-Ambala, wherever applicable.

6. Original Migration Certificate from the Board/University last attended (to be submitted at the time of admission or within 15 days from the date of admission).

7. The candidate must mention his/her own and that of his/her Parent, Phone/Mob. No. and email address in the space provided in the Admission Form. Any change in the contact number/e-mail address must be intimated to the Admission Office.

8. Certificate of Himachali for claiming a seat under the reserved category for Himachali at MMU Solan.

9. Certificate of Haryana resident for claiming a seat under the reserved category for Haryana residents at MMU Sadopur-Ambala.

10. The Students claiming SC/ST/OBC Scholarship should submit the forms to the concerned University/Institute/College in 1st week of October of the year of admission.

11. Admission Procedure for B.Com, MBA, M.Sc:

12. All Admissions are made provisional subject to their Registration with the University concerned/ Examining Body after completing requirements as per the rules/ordinances of the respective Examining Body.

13. A candidate, who does not report for the Counseling in person on the date of Counseling as already notified, shall forfeit his/her seat.

14. The fee is to be deposited at the time of Counseling.

15. There will be no rounding of the percentage of marks for determining the eligibility for admission to various courses.

17. The admission to the MBA will be made based on the merit of MAT/CMAT/qualifying examinations, as the case may be.  In case two or more candidates in the merit list have an equal percentage of marks, the marks obtained in the next lower or qualifying examination will be taken into consideration for determining the merit. In case there is still a tie, the candidate senior in age will be given preference. The candidate possessing the qualification of qualifying examination from any Foreign University/Board should submit an equivalence certificate of their qualifying examination from the Association of Indian Universities NRI seats will be filled up only from bonafide NRIs and their children/wards, and the candidate seeking admission against NRI seats are not required to submit a MAT/CMAT scorecard for admission to the MBA course. If a student fails to attend his/her classes continuously for seven days from the date of commencement of the classes or the date of admission, in case admission has been made after the commencement of the classes, his/her admission shall be canceled without any further notice.  All disputes relating to admission of students or refund of fees etc. will be subject to Ambala Courts or Courts having jurisdiction at Ambala.
