MIST Approved by AICTE: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established in November 1945 as a national-level apex advisory body to conduct a comprehensive survey of the available facilities for technical education and promote development in a coordinated and integrated manner across the country. The AICTE Act was formulated to establish the council, intending to facilitate proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education system throughout India. MIST Indore currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. Admission to these programs is based on entrance exams, and eligibility criteria must be met. For the B.Tech program, admission is granted based on JEE Mains scores, and counseling is conducted by DTE MP Counseling. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.M.Tech admissions require candidates to hold a relevant B.Tech/B.E degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and GATE qualified through DTE MP Counseling. For MBA admissions, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate and qualify in either CAT, CMAT, or XAT exams. After registration, candidates will be prompted to upload their documents for verification. Next, candidates will need to fill out the Online Preference Form and make a partial payment of the tuition fee. Finally, candidates will receive notification about seat allotment and must visit the respective institution to secure their admission seat.
