MIST Approved by AICTE: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established in November 1945 as a national-level apex advisory body to conduct a comprehensive survey of the available facilities for technical education and promote development in a coordinated and integrated manner across the country. The AICTE Act was formulated to establish the council, intending to facilitate proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education system throughout India. Its objectives include promoting qualitative improvements in technical education alongside planned quantitative growth, as well as regulating and maintaining norms and standards within the technical education system and related matters.
MIST Affiliated with RGPV: Founded in 1998 under the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya spans a vast 247-acre campus, aiming to become a hub of excellence in Technical Education, Research, and Innovations. It encompasses 05 UTDs, 200 affiliated Engineering Colleges, 98 Pharmacy Colleges, 95 MCA Colleges, and 04 Architecture Colleges, offering a wide range of undergraduate and diploma courses. Nestled amidst picturesque hills, the university now also provides Ph.D. programs and 11 postgraduate courses.

Malwa Institute of Science and Technology Admission
MIST Indore currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. Admission to these programs is based on entrance exams, and eligibility criteria must be met. For the B.Tech program, admission is granted based on JEE Mains scores, and counseling is conducted by DTE MP Counseling. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.M.Tech admissions require candidates to hold a relevant B.Tech/B.E degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and GATE qualified through DTE MP Counseling. For MBA admissions, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate and qualify in either CAT, CMAT, or XAT exams. The admission process allows for both online and offline registration. Prospective students can download the application form from the official website of the institute to apply.
MIST B.Tech Admission: B.Tech admissions for the 2024 academic year at MIST Indore will be based on the JEE Main score, with centralized counseling conducted by DTE Madhya Pradesh. Direct admission will also be available for the remaining seats.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
How to Apply for JEE Main:
1. Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on "Fill Online Application Form."
2. Register by providing personal details to generate a user ID and password.
3. Upon registration, an application number will be generated.
4. Fill in the required personal details, address, and mobile number.
5. Set a security question and password for future access.
6. Submit the application form by logging in with the same user ID and password.
How to Apply for DTE MP B.Tech Counselling: Candidates must register for online off-campus counseling 2024 on the official website of DTE MP. After registration, candidates will be prompted to upload their documents for verification. Next, candidates will need to fill out the Online Preference Form and make a partial payment of the tuition fee. Finally, candidates will receive notification about seat allotment and must visit the respective institution to secure their admission seat.
