MAMCE, Tiruchirappalli Admission
The college offers a horde of engineering degree courses both at the UG and PG levels. It currently offers 6 B.E. programs in Computer Sc., Electronics & Communication, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics & Instrumentation; B. Tech in Information Technology; and 5 M.E. courses in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Power Electronics & Drives, Manufacturing Engineering and Environmental Engineering. M.A.M. College of Engineering also offers two additional courses, viz. MCA and MBA at the PG level.
• For Admission to M.E. program, candidates without GATE score need to apply and appear for TANCET prior to registering for TANCA counselling.
• Candidates seeking lateral entry to B.E. / B. Tech must necessarily attend TNEA counselling for the purpose of admission.
• For B.E./ B.Tech, candidate with HSC with atleast 50% marks in PCM subjects.
• Candidates seeking admission under Management Quota can collect the application form from the institute’s fee counter.
• Such candidates do not need to appear for Anna University’s counselling process.
• For M.E., candidate must be passed in Bachelor’s degree from recognized university in relevant field is required for eligibility.
• Engineering Diploma holders/ B.Sc. Mathematics graduates can apply for Lateral Entry to B.E. courses as per Anna University’s provisions for the same.
• A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam is however required for such candidates.
• The minimum marks eligibility criteria for Backward Classes is 45%, 40% for MBC & DNC and SC/ ST/ SCA candidates.
• For MCA, candidate with bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year with Mathematics as a subject at HSC or Graduation Level.
• For MBA, candidate must be passed in graduation of minimum three-year duration.
• The college also provides MCA LE course for which candidate must pass BCA/ B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science) in Mathematics as a course at HSC Level or graduation level.
• Candidates for MBA and MCA are selected on the basis of TANCET score only.
• Also, MAT score is considered eligible for admission in MBA program.
• Candidates with a valid GATE score are given the first preference for M.E. admissions.
• The vacant seats left after admitting GATE candidates are filled by TANCET.

M.A.M. College of Engineering UG Admission
M.A.M. College of Engineering offers B.E. & B. Tech. courses in several disciplines of engineering at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the UG courses is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as the core subjects with minimum 50% marks. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of 10+2 marks merit through TNEA counselling.
Candidates seeking admission to UG level engineering degree courses may visit the Anna University website or log on to the dedicated TNEA website and fill the online registration form. For payment of application fee for TNEA, online medium such as credit/ debit cards or net-banking may be used. For admission to Management Quota seats, candidates are required to apply at the institute level.
The college also offers B.E./ B.Tech Lateral Entry for which candidate must pass diploma in engineering/technology or B.Sc. with minimum 55% marks and studied core Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level.
M.A.M. College of Engineering PG Admission
M.A.M. College of Engineering offers postgraduate level engineering degree programs (M.E.) in up to five disciplines. In addition, the institute also offers an MCA (Master in Computer Applications) program at the PG level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the M.E. programs is a B.E./ B. Tech degree in the relevant or allied discipline with 50% marks. Candidates are selected on the basis of their GATE/ TANCET score through TANCA counselling. MCA candidates must have a candidate with bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year with Mathematics as a subject at HSC or Graduation Level. The selection process for MCA is TANCET (entrance test) and its respective counselling.
The college also provides MCA Lateral Entry course for which candidate must have passed BCA/ B.Sc. IT/ B.Sc. CS degree with 50% marks.
Aspiring candidates may seek admission to M.E. and MCA by filling the online application form for Anna University’s TANCET and subsequently registering for TANCA/ relevant counselling for MCA. The application fee for TANCET/ TANCA can be paid online using credit/ debit card or net-banking. To be noted that TANCET (M.E.) applicants who qualify the entrance test do not need to pay the registration fee for TANCA. GATE candidates are exempted from taking TANCET and may register directly for TANCA counselling.
M.A.M. College of Engineering MBA Admission
M.A.M. College of Engineering offers an MBA program to candidates seeking admission to management courses at the postgraduate level. The specializations offered under the MBA program include Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Systems and Operations Management. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the program is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of their TANCET score or MAT score.
Candidates wishing to appear for TANCET (MBA) must visit Anna University’s official website or the dedicated TANCET website and fill the application form online. For payment of application fee, bank cards or net-banking could be used. Candidates can also pay the fees through demand draft. The board accepts no other CET score for MBA admissions.
M.A.M. College of Engineering Application Process
M.A.M. College of Engineering fills its government quota seats through Anna University admission process. Candidates applying for B.E. courses offered by the institute are admitted through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) counselling. For M.E. admissions, candidates are required to appear for GATE/ TANCET prior to registering for TANCA (Tamil Nadu Common Admission) counselling, which is the sole admission process in Tamil Nadu for PG engineering admissions.
