Founded in 1985, Mookambigai College of Engineering is an offspring of the Sri Mariamman Educational, Health and Charitable Trust, Woraiyur, Tiruchirappalli. The Management consists of a team of progressive-minded and benevolent Trustees who have at the helm the far-sighted and enthusiastic Founder Chairman Late Thiru S. Subramaniam. Srinivasa Polytechnic is also run by the Trust on the same campus. Since its inception, Mookambigai College of Engineering has been treading a path of steady and sustained growth and achievements. Today this institution is an epitome of excellence bearing testimony to the high educational standards with a bi-dimensional perspective viz. dedicated student-faculty involvement and a continuous industry-institution- society interaction.

This college helps us to get scholarships from the government. We have to get the scholarship form from the record room. Then we have to fill out the form accordingly. Then we have to submit for form for review in the record room. Then they will apply in our stead.

They teach the best of their knowledge. They put maximum effort into teaching the students, and they are well-experienced. The teaching staff are well qualified and help students to learn. It is the second-best college in our city.

Placement:

4th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. MRF Pvt ltd, TVs, L&T, Rane group of companies are visited in our college campus interviews and they give a lot of offers to our students. 1lakh is the highest and the average is 25 K as per the company and profiles offered. 95% of students are getting placed in our college campus interviews.
