Munger University is a state university and was set up thru the bifurcation of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. It has jurisdiction spreading over 5 districts: Munger, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Jamui, and Khagaria under Munger Division in Bihar. The college is currently operating from RD & DJ College, Munger campus spread over 25 acres of land near New Police Headquarters Munger.
