Students at the National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA) are mandated to participate in internships lasting four weeks after each semester during both the summer and winter breaks. These internships take place in various establishments, including law firms, Courts, NGOs, Statutory Commissions, and other pertinent entities, providing students with practical insights into the application of law across diverse domains. The University has formulated a comprehensive Internship Training program tailored for different academic classes:
First-year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) FYIC students are directed to engage in internships with NGOs.
Second-year students are placed for training with legal practitioners and judges at the district level.
Third-year students are required to pursue internships at the High Courts and the esteemed Supreme Court to gain valuable exposure and experience.
