NRI Institute of Technology is a private institute established in the year 2008. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and has been approved by AICTE and has been accredited by NAAC with grade A.NRIIT is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in a scenic and serene environment spread over an expansive 10.9425 acres amidst the lush greenery of mirch and cotton fields of Visadala Village just 9 kms away from Guntur, the major city of the capital region of Andhra Pradesh. A Physical Training Department is available in the college for the students. Students are provided with training in several sports and games by qualified and well-trained Instructors of the department. There is a playground where the students can enjoy outdoor activities like Cricket, Football, etc.

An air-conditioned seminar hall is available with excellent facility and equipment. The hall has Computers, an LCD projector, a Sound system, Overhead projector, etc. The hall is used by the teachers and students for making project presentations conducting guest lectures and interactive sessions.

The College Library has a wide collection of 20,992 volumes of books covering all the disciplines of Engineering, Humanities, Science, and general fields. There is a good seating capacity for two-hundred students.

A Computer lab is available which remains open from morning till night for the students. More than 60 PCs are available in the centre. The centre is used for conducting placement tests, computer literacy tests, and many other training programs.

Placement

NRI Institute of Technology consists of a training and placement cell that plays an important role in placing graduate students in prestigious companies. It makes the students ready for the recruitment process. Potential recruiters are invited to schedule interviews, conduct GDs, seminars, and written tests. in the placement drive of 2021, a total of 484 students got placed in various companies, out of which 84 students got placement in TCS.

Admission

Admissions to the B.Tech program are made on the basis of the candidate’s scores obtained in AP-EAMCET. For M.Tech admissions, candidates must have a valid score in GATE/AP-PGECET.
