Facilities and Infrastructure:

Library- 

Dr. S. R. Ranganathan Main Library of PGP College of Engineering and Technology has set its vision, to the maximum satisfaction of the institution in imparting the highest quality of Technical Education. Our Library is offering the most modern facilities and infrastructure in an aesthetically designed modern library building.

Our Central Library is housed in a spacious area of 5000 sq. ft. The stock, as well as issue and return, and renewal, are all fully computerized with Bar-Coding provision and the transactions all are automated. Our library has got a seating capacity of 100 seats, out of which 60 are air-conditioned. The Central Library is located in PGP College and it is the biggest library with 500 students and 250 readers visiting the library every day. It works on all working days from 8 am to 8 pm and is closed on every Monday.

Computers Lab- 

The college has a fully equipped computer lab with intel core duo and Core i3 processors.

Hostel facilities :

We offer excellent hostel facilities with RO water facilities, Canteen, and Mess facilities in both JANS Hostel (Boys) and Visalakshi Illam 1 & 2 (Girls) Hostels.

Sports- 

The college has facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. The college has participated in various competitions at the University level and state levels.

Class Tests & Model Examination -

Unlike education up to Higher Secondary level, the professional college education impresses upon a continuous learning process. Three Class Tests, and one -model Theory & Model Practical Examination are held each semester before the students go for the University Examination. Results are communicated to the parents within 7 days of holding the test to keep them updated with the progress of their ward.

Transportation- 

College has its dedicated transport for the day scholars, covering the entire city. Route plans are chalked out keeping in mind the convenience of the students. The institute has deployed twelve medium-sized buses so as to save time for students commuting to and from the institute.

Placement -

Training and placement are the most important activities from the management’s standpoint. Our own sugar factories, hospitality industry, tour, and travel, offer immense training and employment opportunities to our students. In addition to the above, close tie-ups with other organizations provide an added advantage to our students. The college assists the students in arranging for “in-plant” industrial training.
