The Rashtriya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) created its RV Institute for Legal Studies (RVILS) during the year academic 2018-19, with an entirely new and unique approach to legal education. RVILS is affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and is recognized through the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. RVILS provides B.A., LL.B. along with B.B.A., LL.B. 5-Year Integrated Degree Courses. As an Institution strive to create numerous legal luminaries in the coming batches, thereby helping the profession itself as well as to the community in general. Legal Assistance

Legal aid is offered free of charge to those who require legal assistance and at the college for public students during college hours. The cell runs programs each year, by securing several villages. Students visit the villages and continue helping them in accordance with legal guidelines.

The goal of the course is to offer an organized transition from the course to a more professional and personal setting within the student's field of interest. In the course of the internship, students will be able to test the application of concepts of learning within a professional environment under the supervision and guidance of an experienced staff member and an advisor to the university faculty. As part of the experience during the internship students are evaluated based on his/her skills and performance in the community or work environment. The student will be given the opportunity to constantly engage with the personnel in the work environment and also regularly with faculty members in assessing the skills, achievements, and professional development.

During the time of their internship students are expected to do legal research, write briefs, pleadings and opinions, or other legal documents as requested from the hosts. Internships can also include interviews with witnesses, helping lawyers or judges in court, and watching the proceedings of a court.
