Thangapazham Polytechnic College (STPC) was established by Thiru K.Subramania Nadar - Vadivoo Ammal Educational Trust and it commenced its provider from the educational year 2010-2011. The Trust functions with Thiru S. Thangapazham as Chairman and Thiru S. T. Murugesan as Managing Trustee, thereby sharing the commitment to the pursuit of excellence in all things as a lifelong endeavor.

COLLEGE HOSTEL:

Separate hostel facilities are available for boys & Girls. It has Well spacious rooms with all modern amenities/ sanitary annexes and sufficient recreation facilities are also provided. Quality and hygienic vegetarian and Non-vegetarian foods are served to the hostellers.

SPORTS:

Facilities for sports and games such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, standard track and field for athletic events, and Indoor game facilities for chess, carom, and gym are available for our students to make them involved in sports activities at the state level. 

BUS FACILITIES:

The College has 14 buses boarding students from various places covering almost all small villages in this area.

Admission

Application in the prescribed form for admission should reach the Principal within the prescribed time accompanied, by an Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Director of Technical Education Government of Tamilnadu (in the case of other state students only). 

Placement

The following Companies have participated and recruited from our students who have completed their three-year Polytechnic Diploma Courses in our college since our college started from the academic year 2010-2011 to now, and the number of students got placed in the academic year 2018-19 is 592. A full-time placement cell is functioning effectively to place the students in various reputed companies at different places. Career guidance programs are arranged periodically to improve students’ abilities.
