Sandip University Admission - Course Eligibility

Sandip University UG Admission

To be eligible for admission to Sandip University's undergraduate programs, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with a minimum of 50% marks for the general (open) category and 40% marks for the reserved category.

OR

2. Passed 10th Diploma in any stream from any institute.

Sandip University PG Admission

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Sandip University, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for reserved categories.

2. Obtain a valid score in the relevant entrance exam accepted by the university, such as the Common Admission Test (CAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Joint Entrance Examination – Master of Business Administration (JEE-Main MBA).

Sandip University Ph.D. Admission

To be eligible for admission to certain programs at Sandip University, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Possess a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body.

2. Obtain at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency approved, recognized, or authorized by an authority established or incorporated under a law in its home country.

3. The relaxation of 5% in eligibility marks to certain categories is permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.

4. Candidates possessing a degree considered equivalent to an M.Phil. degree from an Indian institution or a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency approved, recognized, or authorized by an authority established or incorporated under a law in its home country.

5. Candidates who are qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, or hold a Teacher fellowship, or have passed the M.Phil. program shall be exempted from the Entrance Test.

Sandip University Admission Process

Admission to Sandip University is open to all candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications. The selection process is based strictly on merit at the entrance examination. The admission process is divided into the following steps:

1. Purchase the Application Form: Candidates can obtain the Application Form from designated centres or the University Office by paying a cash amount of Rs. 750/- or through a demand draft drawn in favor of “Sandip University”.

2. Submit the Application Form: After filling out the Application Form, candidates need to submit it to any of the designated centres or University offices. It is essential to carefully read the rules and regulations before filling and submitting the application form.

3. Submission of Valid Test Scores: Candidates with valid test scores in National Level Tests such as JEE, UPSEE, CAT, MAT, SAT, GMAT, ENAT, EMAT, UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, or those who hold a teacher fellowship or have passed the M.Phil. program are requested to submit their scores along with the application form.

4. Entrance Examination, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview: Candidates are required to appear for the entrance examination, group discussion, and personal interview as per the schedule determined by the university. Admissions to Non-Professional Courses are based on merit, while Entrance Examinations for Professional programs are conducted at the university on designated dates each year.

5. Final Selection and Admission Formalities: Upon final selection, candidates must complete all admission formalities and deposit the requisite fee to confirm their admission.

6. Commencement of Classes: Classes commence as per the schedule published on the notice board and/or university website.
