The Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology, commonly known as SIST, is located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. It was founded in 2004. The university is affiliated with KTU.Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology (SIST). Named after the pioneer of space science and technology in India, this institute was established to fulfill the dream of a great visionary, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai to train high-caliber experts in pioneering engineering disciplines. The High-Tech Engineering College named “SARABHAI INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY” is a self-funded institute established by the Space Engineers Welfare Society (SEWELS) with the approval of the Government of Kerala.  

The SARAPHAI INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY campus is located in VELLANAD, a rural village on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram city. The IT database of companies using the LIBMAS software has adequate search capabilities to obtain the desired information and generate appropriate management reports. The traffic function is fully computerized. 

College Library is an institutional member of DELNET and adheres to the Cengage Learning of DELNET Consortium's IESTC-InfoTrac Engineering, Science & Technology Collection of E-Courts Package.  The library also subscribes to national and international printed periodicals. 

Hostels: 

There are separate dormitories for boys and girls on campus. Accommodation for 400 students is currently available. 

Canteen: 

A full canteen meets the needs of students and employees. Two kiosks are available on campus for light refreshments such as coffee/tea and snacks.
