Sinhgad Law College was established in 2003 by the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES), which encompasses a group of educational institutions offering programs in Engineering, Law, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Health Science, among others. Founded by Prof. M. N. Navale in 1993, STES responded to the escalating educational demands in the rapidly evolving industry following the implementation of the Government of India's open business strategy policy. The society's initial venture, Sou. Venutai Chavan Polytechnic Institute commenced with three-year full-time Diploma Courses in Engineering, accredited by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Since its inception, STES has experienced continuous expansion, boasting 12 campuses scattered across Maharashtra. Spanning over 500 acres, these campuses accommodate over 85 institutes/colleges and 26 schools, employing more than 7000 individuals. Nestled amidst the picturesque Sahyadri Ranges, these campuses offer an ideal learning environment with lush green surroundings and panoramic vistas.
