Sir J. J. School of Art Mumbai provides a number of scholarships and financial aid programs to help its students. Based on Government Resolution (G.R.) dated April 24, 1973, merit scholarships of 6% of students and 10% of students get freeships in each class. This scholarship per month per student is ₹25 for the first year of BFA students and ₹35 for other students of the institution. Moreover, a stipend of ₹75 per month is sanctioned to the students pursuing the Diploma in Art Education program.
